About this site

This is the fifth version of my website. I usually design and build a new one whenever I've learned a new technology and want an excuse to try it out.

I picked up React early in 2026 and used Next.js to build a few sites. I really enjoyed how easy and structured the framework felt. Before that, I'd spent about 7 years working mostly with Vue.js, but the maturity of the React ecosystem won me over, and it's now my main stack.

That was a big part of the inspiration for this site. I also wanted it to be more structured and robust than previous versions. I'll keep adding case studies and writing as I work on new projects, along with other updates from time to time.

I like to use motion sparingly, only where it improves the experience. Most of what you'll find here are small micro-interactions, and some only appear on hover, so you might not notice them at all.

I built this site right after finishing Animations on the Web, and it shaped a lot of the details. I used custom easing curves throughout, which feel much slicker than CSS's built-in ones.
